Indiana Law Will Expunge Criminal Records, Affecting Background Checks

Employers that utilize background checks are often required to limit their consideration of an applicant's criminal past to incidents occurring within the past seven years. Indiana employers may soon have no choice, as a state law will allow for prospective employees to have some of their records expunged.
